Michael Julian Bond - VP/Marketing, Georgia

An orator and frequent commentator on national & local television and radio programs, Michael also served as Producer & host of “About Atlanta,” a local cable television show. Michael has received numerous citations and awards for his work.
Michael served two terms on the Atlanta City Council representing District Three, serving as President Pro Tempore in 2001. Michael is a Life Member of the NAACP and served as the Georgia NAACP Membership Coordinator for the “Membership 1000 Campaign” 2006. He serves as a national board member of the American Diabetes Association “Advocacy” Committee.
A fifth generation Atlantan, Michael is the son of famed Civil Rights Leader NAACP Board Chairman Julian Bond, and Alice Clopton Bond. He speaks many times a year at senior events, community meetings, schools, churches and civic organizations.
